Size & Weight

  • All gemstones are measured in millimeters (mm).
  • Dimensions are listed as length × width × depth, except for round stones which are measured as diameter × depth.
  • Always choose gemstones by size, not by weight!
  • Different gem varieties have different densities, so carat weight isn’t a reliable indicator of size.

Gemstones Treatments Explained
Treatment Description
Natural This gemstone has zero treatments—no heat, no irradiation, no filling, no stabilisation. It’s simply mined, cut, and polished.
Heated Heating enhances or develops colour and clarity, commonly seen in Sapphire, Ruby, Tanzanite, Topaz, and Zircon.
Dyed This process adds colouring agents to create a richer, more even colour. Traditionally associated with Agate and still used today for certain Onyx and Agate stones.
Irradiated Radiation treatment modifies light absorption, transforming clear stones like Topaz into blue varieties.
Coated A thin metallic film is added to produce the iridescent look found in Mystic or Azotic quartz.
Smoked Foil-wrapping and gentle heating allow smoke to enter the opal, darkening its body colour and boosting play-of-colour. Common in some Ethiopian Black Opals.
Stabilised Resin or polymer is infused into porous gems to improve hardness, density, and colour—essential for fragile stones like Turquoise.
Cultured Human-assisted pearls grown in freshwater or saltwater molluscs. They grow faster and are more reliable, which keeps them affordable.

Labradorite – A Stone Defined by Its Changing Light

Labradorite is loved for the dramatic flashes that can appear across its naturally dark body. Depending on the stone and the angle of light, you may see vivid blue, soft green, golden, violet, or mixed flashes emerging from a charcoal to gray background. This changing optical appearance gives Labradorite an especially dynamic look and makes every individual stone feel different.

Rather than remaining visually the same from every direction, Labradorite can reveal new areas of color as it is moved beneath the light. Some pieces may display a concentrated electric-blue flash, while others feature broader areas of green, gold, violet, or multicolor shimmer. This natural variation makes it an excellent choice for designers searching for a gemstone with depth and personality.

Designed for Statement Jewelry

Labradorite works beautifully as a focal stone in handmade and designer jewelry. Its dark base provides a strong contrast against bright flashes, allowing it to stand out in rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and statement pieces.

It can be paired with silver for a cool contemporary appearance, with gold for a warmer luxury look, or with darker metals for an artistic and dramatic finish. Whether used as a centerpiece or incorporated into a larger gemstone composition, Labradorite adds movement and visual interest to the design.

Every Piece Has Its Own Flash

Natural Labradorite is valued for its individuality. The intensity, placement, and color of the flash can differ considerably from one stone to another. Some pieces have a focused blue glow, while others show layered colors across the surface.

These differences are part of the natural character of the gemstone. Selecting individual stones allows jewelry makers and collectors to choose pieces according to the exact flash, shape, color balance, and appearance they prefer.

Crafted in Our Own Manufacturing Unit

We cut, shape, and polish our gemstones in our own manufacturing unit, with careful attention given to the natural structure and visual character of each piece. Our skilled artisans work to achieve a clean, attractive polish while maintaining the distinctive appearance that makes Labradorite desirable.

Every finished stone passes through our dedicated quality control process before being prepared for shipment. Our team includes experienced gemologists and artisans with more than 20 years of experience working with gemstones.

Quality Checked for Jewelry Use

Our gemstones are quality checked and tested through an authentic professional gemological laboratory process. We focus on careful selection, finishing, inspection, and reliable service so that our stones are suitable for jewelry designers, collectors, artists, resellers, and custom jewelry makers.

Because Labradorite is a natural gemstone, variations in body color, flash intensity, transparency, inclusions, patterns, and surface character are completely natural. These differences are what give each piece its individual appearance.

Convenient Worldwide Delivery

We offer smooth worldwide delivery with a $5 delivery charge. You can add as many stones as you want to your order without paying an additional shipping charge for every extra gemstone.

Choose Labradorite when you want a gemstone that can transform under light, combining a sophisticated dark base with flashes of blue and other natural colors for truly distinctive jewelry designs.

Gemstones are naturally occurring minerals prized for their beauty, color, and rarity. They are used in jewelry, decorations, and sometimes for spiritual purposes.
A cabochon is smooth and polished, usually dome-shaped, without any cuts. A faceted gemstone has multiple small angled cuts that reflect light and create sparkle.
Authenticity can be checked through certified labs, hardness tests, refractive index, or sometimes using UV light or a microscope. Buying from certified sellers is the safest way.
Some people believe gemstones carry spiritual or healing energies. For example, amethyst is thought to bring peace and clarity, while rose quartz is linked to love and harmony.
